Frank van der Cruysen, responsible for funeral transport equipment within Instra: “Whether it concerns a transfer vehicle or a ceremonial car, special requirements are placed on funeral transport, including for the interior. For us, it is a challenge to offer every customer a tailor-made solution for their specific mobility needs. We have been doing this for 25 years with our specialized team of professionals. They work with advanced computer systems and have access to their own production facilities, enabling them to deliver the custom work the customer requires.” Loyal customer base Thanks to the extensive range of products, diverse installation options, and all kinds of related services, Instra is able to deliver a vehicle turnkey. “The combination of our flexible service, tight planning, and a sharp price-quality ratio is highly appreciated by our business partners. As a result, we have been able to build up a loyal customer base over the years.” Welcome to the workshop At Instra, the end user's wishes are converted into 3D drawings, accompanied by a simulation of the movable parts. “This allows us to show very clearly in advance what the final result will be. The design is presented within a short timeframe following the intake interview. Before the vehicle arrives at our facility, we ensure that all products have been developed and manufactured. The advantage of this is that the vehicle does not remain in our workshop for an unnecessarily long time. We coordinate the planning of the fitting-out and conversion with the client. We always invite our clients to follow the progress in the interim. This approach results in a short turnaround time. For us, this is quite normal, but it turns out to be fairly unique in the industry.” Brand-independent Instra is not dependent on a single make or type of car for the outfitting of funeral transport. “We can equip every model with the interior desired by the customer. For example, we offer the option of fitting the transfer vehicles with temperature-controlled spaces. This can involve the entire rear area or separate compartments, in combination with other layout options. We are also brand-independent when it comes to modifications for ceremonial transport. Whether it concerns funeral flags, flower racks, drawer systems, or movable floors, there are endless possibilities for every vehicle. Quality is always our top priority: we work exclusively with premium brands and maintain a high level of finish.” Dealerships Instra also offers tailor-made concepts for importers of funeral transport. “We discuss the expectations of the end users with the dealerships. We then put together a comprehensive package that meets all wishes. We sit down with the end user to arrive at a perfectly fitting interior: well thought out and tailored down to the last detail to daily use,” says an enthusiastic Frank van der Cruysen.

Lavation – the gentle path to burial. Life once began in water. Lavation brings us back to eternity through water. Flowing and completely natural, the cycle of life closes. Lavation is the gentle path. It is an alternative and particularly environmentally conscious form of burial. It requires only a fraction of the energy of cremation and is significantly more sustainable than both cremation and burial. At the same time, this water-based process relies on a natural process that gently returns the body to its origin – to the elements that form the foundation of us all.
