About us
Meander Funeral Training was founded on the conviction that the profession of funeral director requires more than just knowledge and skills. It is a profession in which the director brings their whole self as a human being.
Our goal is to elevate the profession of funeral director to a level that does justice to the comprehensive nature of the profession, in both breadth and depth. Our starting point is that the funeral director brings their whole self as a human being. Therefore, our teaching methods are designed to ensure that the student consistently connects the material presented with themselves, thereby further developing their own vision and maturation as a person.
We speak of ‘funeral director’ because that is where the essence of the profession lies. A person in mourning is vulnerable; this requires a human being facing them.
