HONOR Piëteitstechniek was founded in 1948 and since then has been manufacturing, developing, supplying, and inspecting product concepts that are experienced and used as solutions in cemeteries, crematoria, funeral homes, mortuaries, and hospitals. The philosophy behind our product concepts is that everything must run 100% smoothly before, during, and after a funeral. It is our “honor” (HONOR in American English) to achieve this to the satisfaction of both your and our customers! NOVUM Concept: NOVUM® is a special product range with a completely new concept and contemporary spirit. The dying and their loved ones increasingly feel the need to create a very personal and therefore unique atmosphere during the funeral. The NOVUM product range makes this possible. Individual funerals are the trend: Until recently, the means used to conduct the funeral were—in keeping with Calvin's philosophy—often not allowed to be visible during the ceremony, but were merely meant to be functional. The current trend towards increasingly personal funerals has initiated the development of the new NOVUM furnishing elements. This product range creates a personal atmosphere during a ceremony and accentuates the coffin containing the deceased in a stylish manner. Unique products: NOVUM-XV burial device. The automatically operating NOVUM-XV burial device stylishly places the deceased at the center. It offers the bereaved the opportunity to easily, ergonomically, and safely place the coffin with their loved one onto the device, and to lower the coffin themselves. The choice of various color and finish styles complements the concept. NOVUM hearse, electrically adjustable. The NOVUM hearse is electrically height-adjustable, resolving many logistical (waiting time for the bereaved) and ergonomic (lifting moments) disadvantages. Furthermore, this hearse is electrically 'kneeling'. The kneeling position – for example in the auditorium or during speeches – provides significantly better visibility of the coffin with the deceased. The NOVUM hearse also offers significant economic benefits by reducing disruptive waiting times during a funeral by as much as 15 to 20 minutes. This allows for additional burial services and, in particular, cremation services in a single day. NOVUM lectern with video or photo The NOVUM lectern can be equipped with a video screen or a photo frame. This allows video or photo presentations to be shown during speeches. The NOVUM lectern is suitable for both indoor (auditorium) and outdoor (cemetery) use. NOVUM colored walkways The NOVUM safety walkways are standard aluminum walkways anodized in natural tones. This eliminates the industrial appearance and glare. NOVUM grave covers The NOVUM aluminum grave covers are standard aluminum grave covers anodized in natural tones. As a result, the industrial appearance and glare have been eliminated from these materials as well. NOVUM grave formwork The NOVUM aluminium grave formwork features a wood look for a beautiful, natural appearance inside the grave. There is a choice of various wood types.
