Demand for urn placements keeps growing; the space for them does not. A columbarium calls for a foundation, a contractor and a budget that is often not there. And the public increasingly asks for natural forms and shapes, which makes urn walls harder to fill than they once were.
Ash 2 Ashes makes urn monuments in solid basalt that stand on their own weight. Truncus is a sawn and bored basalt column holding one to three urns: place it without a foundation, and expand it later into a family field. That turns a verge, a woodland edge or a strip of rough grassland into usable ground for urn placements. For larger numbers there is Columna, a columbarium of raw basalt columns with fifteen to one hundred urn places, alongside outdoor furniture, stepping stones and bespoke work.
