About us

Design objects that hold a memory – made to order in Europe from a circular biomaterial.

CIRCART grew out of years of designing premium objects for the home. Looking at the urn market in 2024, we found a clear gap: timeless, well-made design existed almost exclusively at high prices. Our mission is to make considered design accessible for a dignified farewell — and to support lasting remembrance through forms worth living with.

At the heart of our work is a biologically circular material, developed together with our Dutch material partner. It has the finish and the weight of a premium design object — and when the moment comes, it breaks down in soil without residue. Unlike many urns made from natural-fibre composites, it leaves no microplastics behind.
