About us
A personal farewell wrapped in tree bark. Our shrouds are harvested annually during the rainy season by our team in Uganda. The Ficus Natalensis, also known as Mutuba, continues to grow and can be harvested once a year. With the proceeds, we plant a memorial tree that customers can name after their loved one. In doing so, we support sustainable agroforestry and reforestation in Uganda. Additionally, we collaborate with the women's group Arise. They handcraft sustainable funeral products from banana fiber, such as viewing baskets and urns. They also make floral garlands and cushions from textiles.
