Boerland Uitvaartmanden

About us

Boerland Funeral Baskets. A sustainable farewell with respect for people, nature, and tradition.

Boerland creates funeral coffins from natural materials such as rattan, seagrass, water hyacinth, abaca, and kubu. Each model is entirely hand-woven by skilled craftsmen with years of experience. The weaving techniques and choice of materials ensure a stable construction and a natural appearance. All baskets feature unbleached cotton lining and are suitable for both burial and cremation. With a wide range of sizes, colors, and weave structures, Boerland always offers a version that suits the occasion and the wishes of the bereaved.
